Visit Westover's rarely-seen interior during the latter half of Virginia's Historic Garden Week! Every April, visitors are welcomed to more than 250 of Virginia's most beautiful gardens, homes and historic landmarks during "America's Largest Open House." This 8-day statewide event provides visitors a unique opportunity to see unforgettable gardens at the peak of Virginia's springtime color, as well as beautiful houses sparkling with fabulous flower arrangements. Westover was featured on the first Historic Garden Week in 1929, and keeping with tradition, will once again open its doors in 2017: three days only, April 23, 24 and 25. The Autumn Pilgrimage House Tour is always a big event, as the doors of many of our nation's most historic homes are opened to the public for one day. The parish's original structure was built on Westover Plantation in the early 1600s soon after the settlement of Jamestown. It was dismantled and reconstructed on its present site on Herring Creek in 1730. Westover Church's 2016 tour of historic Charles City homes and gardens, some open for the first time and for this day only, will be held on Saturday, September 17th, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. visit http://westoverepiscopalchurch.org.

Celebrate the bounty of early spring harvest as demonstrated in delicious signature samples from culinary geniuses from the region.
Guests will enjoy a tour of the plantation grounds and rarely seen interior of the manor, craft beer and Virginia wine, food workshops, environmental demos, garden time for kids, music and a mini market.
Westover Plantation will be in full bloom and gorgeous at every turn!
Tickets are for $30/person and children under 12 are free.
Participating chefs will be announced early April.
